Lucknow March 16: Laying stress on vital election issues of rampant unemployment, agrarian crisis, industrial slump, massive corruption, worst economic situation, the Lok Gathbandhan Party (LGP) today called upon the people to shun the forces of casteism and communalism and ensure victory of those candidates who are committed to work for restoration of corruption-free honest and transparent system. The LGP said that it has been relentlessly working in this direction for a long time.
The spokesman of the party said that LGP’s national president and former Secretary Government of India Vijay Shankar Pandey, who is contesting from Faizabad Lok Sabha seat, is known for his uncompromising fight against corruption at high places. The spokesman said the LGP under the leadership of Mr Pandey has been working for “new politics” by weeding out corruption, casteism and communalism from the system. The spokesman said 2019 Lok Sabha election has thus provided an opportunity to the electorate to usher into an era of clean politics under the banner of LGP. The spokesman said the people should also frustrate the efforts of corrupt political parties to push public-oriented issues under the carpet. The spokesman said the election campaigning of Mr Pandey in Faizabad during the last eight months with this moto has yielded positive results and LGP has succeeded in garnering wider support of the people. The spokesman said the LGP has also succeeded in creating awakening among the people about the prevailing situation under the present political dispensation in UP and at the centre.
Pointing out that poor people in rural areas are groaning under the heels of multiple problems, the spokesman said they are now yearning for change in Faizabad and elsewhere under the leadership of Mr Pandey. The spokesman said that job and farm sector crisis has hit hard the people but ruling party has been making effort to scuttle political narrative on these issues but it will not succeed in its move because the people are quite vigilant. The spokesman further said that in rural areas of UP the problem of stray cattle has also become a major poll issue as it has ruined farmers during the last one year. The spokesman said UP government’s belated efforts in this direction have failed to yield desired results.
