BJP owes explanation to nation and not fake slogans for dismal performance: Lok Gathbandhan Party

Lucknow, March 20: The Lok Gathbandhan Party (LGP) said today that BJP-led NDA owes an explanation to the nation about its five-years poor performance in the government. The LGP said the claim of Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, who has of late been indirectly critical of his government, that “work will help the party in election” is just a misleading sloganeering as available indicators about the poor performance of the NDA government are in public domain to assess the actual situation.

The spokesman of the LGP headed by former Secretary Government of India Vijay Shankar Pandey, who is contesting Lok Sabha election from Faizabad, said here on Wednesday that despite desperate efforts the government has not been able to conceal the poor economic and job data which reflected utter failure of the government. The spokesman said the LGP, which has decided to contest Lok Sabha election in UP and Gujarat, has been apprising the people about the miserable performance of both UP and central governments. The spokesman said LGP candidate from Faizabad Vijay Shankar Pandey, who has launched hectic campaigning, has directly reached out to the people during his door-to-door contact in rural areas with the message of clean, honest and transparent political system to serve the poor people. Mr Pandey message of “new politics” by overthrowing corrupt and hackneyed system has gone down well with the people, the spokesman said, adding poor people have all the right to know honestly what the NDA government has done for them and it should not be pushed under rug through false slogans.

The spokesman said that LGP’s manifesto has laid stress on inclusive growth of every section of the society without caste or communal biases. The spokesman said the LGP firmly believed that the country has enough resources for the overall development of the people in education, health, rural, infrastructure development and other social sectors but the menace of rampant corruption especially at higher places has pushed the nation to abyss. Without complete elimination of corruption from governance the problems of poor people cannot be solved, the spokesman said and added that BJP has been making fake claim about fight corruption and the people should be vigilant of such slogans.
